Product Introduction

Calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement has a very fast hydration rate and a short setting time, which brings many inconveniences to construction. CSA-PSR-05 is a retarder specifically designed for preparing mortars or concrete with CSA cement. By adsorbing extensively on the surfaces of cement particles and hydration products, it effectively suppresses the hydration of cement. CSA-PSR-05 significantly extends the setting time and improves workability.

• Appearance: Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid

• Active Content: 30%

• Specific Gravity: 1.06 g/ml

• pH: 5-7

• Chloride Ion Content: ≤ 0.05%

Product Advantages

1. Provides better retarding effects compared to traditional retarders.

2. Simultaneously improves the flowability and workability of cement paste, enhancing compressive strength.

3. When used in combination with the CSA-specific water-reducing agent CSA-PCE-06, the retarding effect is further enhanced, and the setting time is significantly prolonged.

4. The concrete setting time can be adjusted between 0.5 to 2 hours. When used with CSA-PCE-06, the setting time can be adjusted between 0.5 to 4 hours.

Usage Instructions

The typical dosage in concrete is 0.6% to 3% by weight of the cementitious material.

Packaging and Storage

1. Packaging: Sealed plastic drums, 200 kg/drum, or ton containers, or as per customer requirements.

2. Storage: Store at a minimum temperature of 0°C to avoid freezing and thawing.

3. Shelf Life: One year.
