Product Introduction
Fracturing and acidizing are widely used enhanced oil recovery operations in the oilfield. In fracturing, guar gum and crosslinkers are typically used along with a proppant such as ceramic sand, which is injected into the formation. One of the key components in this process is the Clean-up Agent, whose primary role is to break down the crosslinked guar gum system after the fracturing operation is completed. This allows the injected fluid to be returned from the oil well as much as possible, reducing damage to the formation. The higher the reduction in surface tension by the clean-up agent, the higher the fluid recovery efficiency.
Fluorosurfactants, due to their extremely high surface activity, can significantly reduce the surface tension of liquids to below 25 dyn/cm even at very low dosages (e.g., 100 ppm). This makes them widely used in oilfield clean-up agent products.
FP-407 is a fluorosurfactant developed by Mapu for oilfield clean-up operations. It has the following features:
High surface activity with a low dosage required.
Excellent compatibility with other surfactants, suitable for both acidic and alkaline systems.
Good thermal stability, with an application temperature exceeding 175°C.
